The black-tie “Celebrating Life” gala took place at the InterContinental Miami on March 26th, and was co-chaired by board members, Lisa Gaeta, Mike Parrish and Andre Chammas. Sandra Peebles from Univision 23 emceed the evening’s festivities while Carlos Olivia y Los Sobrinos del Juez entertained the hundreds of guests.
“I found the event truly inspirational, from the profiles of children who are leukemia survivors, to the efforts of the finalists advocating for individuals facing treatment for these diseases,” said Dr. Krishna Komanduri, Director of Adult Stem Cell Transplant Program at University of Miami. “I was thrilled to be at this extremely successful event that will assist in LLS’ critical mission.”
