The 22nd Annual U.S.S. Holiday Swing

Over 1,200 people partied at the Art Deco luxury cruise themed gala, the U.S.S. Holiday Swing, this year.

Partygoers sat ship style amongst fabulous decorations to watch four performing groups. Event guests bid on items from a huge 300-piece silent auction including a Jean-Paul Gaultier shirt worn by Peter Paige in the final episode of Queer As Folk and a private visit for two to the set of ABC's hit TV show, Modern Family. Guests dined on a lavish buffet and drank signature cocktails from three bars in separate party rooms. The Sentimental Journey Orchestra and the Studebakers provided big band swing and crooning jazz for dancers and spectators alike.

Guests were treated to a free photo booth, a samba processional by the Austin Samba School complete with bateria and dancers, and a stunning performance by members of the award-winning Tapestry Dance Company.

This year's Holiday Swing raised over $45,000 for hospice and housing for people living with HIV/AIDS, all in one night. Thank you to the generous donors, sponsors, guests and volunteers! See you next year for our Golden Age of Hollywood rendition of the annual Holiday Swing!
