NOF A Gift From Mothers To Daughters
09/30/2010 - By New York, NY

The National Osteoporosis Foundation (NOF) held their fundraising luncheon on September 30, 2010 at The Pierre Hotel in New York City.

NOF honored former First Lady of New York, Matilda Cuomo; respected medical journalist of CBS, Dr. Max Gomez; and mother-daughter activists, Marybeth and JC Bond of Bond Girls Bike America during the event. The fundraising event celebrated families – mothers and daughters in particular – building healthy bones for life, and the tradition of passing health information from one generation to the next.

Honorary Chair, the legendary model Carmen Dell’Orefice, was joined by Honorary Hosts and past honorees Paula Zahn, Ivana Trump and Dr. Marie Savard. The afternoon included a shopping boutique with fashions by Adrienne Landau and jewelry by Judith Ripka, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting NOF.
