Ndoro CC 2nd Annual Fundraising Gala in Association with Econet Mobile

This was the second annual fundraising signature event for Ndoro Chidren's Charities.

The purpose of the event is to raise awareness and much needed funds for the Zororo Leadership Academy which is an orphanage home, school and clinic for children in Zimbabwe. This project will require ongoing funding. It is hoped that as many as 500 children will have access to education in the project’s first 5 years.

The 2010 Gala brought over 250 attendees and included entertainment performances by singer Shingai Shoniwa of the Noisettes, Jazz artist Matt Phillips, violin star Analiza Ching and musical group City Boy Soul. Theatrical performances included James Anderson from the West End production of Thriller, as well as a musical production from Annie.

The evening included an auction hosted by professional auctioneer, Zelina Burt as well as an appearance from Wales International footballer Steve Morrison who offered a donation for a dance off on stage.
