Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center 9th Annual Celebrity Golf & Tennis Classic

More than 250 golfers and 360 dinner guests participated in Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center's 9th Annual Golf & Tennis Classic on Monday, September 14, 2009 at North Hempstead Country Club and Sands Point Golf Club in Port Washington, NY.

Congressman Ed Towns and Assemblyman Darryl Towns were presented with the Pacesetter Award. Guests were joined by celebrity participants, including ABC Eyewitness News Weatherman Bill Evans, Hockey Hall of Famer Pat LaFontaine, former Heavyweight contender Gerry Cooney, former NFL Giant Don Hermann, Pulitzer Prize winning sports writer Dave Anderson, former NBA referee Wally Rooney, and former "Soprano" star Vincent Pastore.

Proceeds from the benefit will support Kingsbrook's Department of Radiology through the purchase of nuclear medicine equipment.
