Historic House Trust of New York City Annual Founders Award Dinner

The Historic House Trust of New York City paid tribute to Former Mayor Edward I. Koch at a festive “house party” in the delightful gardens of Gracie Mansion.

Perfect garden party weather greeted guests as they enjoyed a unique menu provided by Glorious Foods with ingredients from the Trust’s very own resources such as Historic Richmond Town’s Decker Form, chocolate desserts from The Morris Jumel Mansion’s kitchen and wine from The Queens Country Farm Museum. The Bruce Saunders Orchestra provided great dance music under the tent with table décor by the inimitable and creative David Stark Design and Production. The evening, including a silent auction, raised funds for the preservation of 23 city-owned sites across the five boroughs, from humble farms to grand mansions. Mayor Michael Bloomberg was there to present an award to Ed Koch honoring his 21 years as the founder of the Trust in 1989.
