Fashion Delivers Charitable Foundation Gala

Fashion Delivers Charitable Foundation proudly celebrated its Fifth Anniversary on November 3rd 2010 at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City.

Making a surprise guest appearance, Madonna awarded the ‘Fashion Has A Heart’ Award to Neil Cole, Chairman and President of ICONIX Brand Group.

Fashion Delivers recognized three outstanding honorees who personify the belief that the fashion industry has a heart: Liz Sweney, Executive Vice President of the Women’s Apparel division of JCPenney; Neil Cole, Chairman, President and CEO of Iconix Brand Group, Inc.; and legendary fashion designer, Tommy Hilfiger. Presenters included Mike Ullman, CEO of JCPenney and Terry Lundgren, CEO of Macy’s, Inc.

Joining this illustrious roster of industry leaders was Actress, Model & Jewelry Designer, Molly Sims along with former President & CEO of JA Apparel, Marty Staff. Text to Pledge provided a fun, interactive addition to Fashion Delivers’ fundraising activities which was hosted by Marty & Molly, who, awarded big donors with a kiss on the lips! It encouraged the guests to text in additional donations and messages which was shown, in real time, on large screens set up in the ballroom, creating a social giving network. Over $170,000 was raised in Text to Pledge
and over $1.5 million in ticket sales.

We couldn’t be more thrilled to honor and celebrate our colleagues, donors, supporters and individuals who embody our mission and contribute to our tremendous success in providing relief to those in need,” states Allan Ellinger, Fashion Delivers Chairman.
