Commemorating 5 Years of Mikey's Way, starring Robert Klein

In what many have called the "event of the season" for the Westport Country Playhouse, entertainer Robert Klein performed his comic genius to a near capacity crowd.

The show was performed on Nov 6th with all proceeds going to benefit the Mikey's Way Foundation.
The Westport based non-profit raised over 60,000 thrpough ticket sales, a silent auction, raffle and donations. "This is a tremendous event and evening for Mikey's Way. I am thrilled to see so mant people interested in Mikey and his mission," said Les Friedman CEO & President of the Foundation, and Mikey's dad. When asked how she felt about the night's success, Barbara Landau, the event's coordinator and Mikey's mom, said, "this far exceeds what we could have hoped for, and I am so thankful to all those who helped put this great event together."
Master of ceremonies, Mar Jennings, and opening act Steve Lazarus delighted the audience with ther own comedic styling. Mr. Klein's performance received a standing ovation as he entertained for more than an hour and a half.
After his performance Mr. Klein gave a private reception for those attendees who had purchased the VIP room pass. He signed autographs, took pictures and mingled with guests.
