A Celebration of Art, Wine and Literacy

The Leadership Council (formerly Young Professionals Board) of the newly renamed Read Alliance hosted its third annual fall fundraising event, A Celebration of Art, Wine and Literacy, on Thursday, Nov. 11, from 7 to 9 p.m.

The fundraiser took place at the Raandesk Gallery of Art at 16 W. 23rd St. in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan. Approximately 125 people attended at a cost of $85 per person ($150 for two).

Sommeliers from eight wineries were on hand to serve their finest vintages, with food catered by The Crooked Knife restaurant on 14th Street. Brooklyn artist Jason Bryant was also at the event to share his current exhibition of large-scale paintings at the Raandesk Gallery.
